Sans Titres (Riopelle’s Boundaries)
Sans Titres (Riopelle’s Boundaries) celebrates the works of Jean Paul Riopelle while engaging in dialogue around environmental issues within the arts ecosystem of Nova Scotia.
Using a community created environment of painted, 12′ x 12′ parachutes,
we create a canvas of poetic performance and visual arts that touch upon themes represented in Riopelle’s work.
Sans Titres incorporates ideas from Ryan Gray’s Boundaries,
integrating research and thematic material that explores the concepts of testing and crossing boundaries in its various forms.
